Per the Ohio Department of Health, septic contractors (installers, service providers, and haulers) must renew their registrations annually with each local health district by the end of each calendar year. Requirements include submitting a renewal application, paying fees, providing proof of liability insurance, filing a surety bond, and completing continuing education.
