Clermont County Public Health realizes that most homeowners are responsible system operators who take care of their on-site systems in an acceptable manner. The Acceptable Operation and Maintenance Program (AO&M) rewarded homeowners for consistently maintaining their sewage treatment systems.
Effective March 2026, the AO&M Program will not be granted in the future. During the transition as the program is phased out, existing AO&M designations will be honored until their next normal Operation Permit Inspection.
