Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) serves children up to the age of five years and women who are pregnant, post-partum six months, and breastfeeding up to one year.

Every three months, participants receive food benefits on a WIC Nutrition Card, which is used like a debit card at grocery stores throughout Clermont County. Benefits are used to purchase items that are put together as packages, according to the participant's life stage nutritional needs.

Food and beverages in the package may include items like
  • cereal
  • eggs
  • milk
  • whole grain foods
  • fruits and vegetables
  • and iron-fortified infant formula.

In addition, WIC participants can participate in the WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program each summer to supplement their benefits with seasonal fruits and vegetables grown by local farmers.
